What Was Riley Green up to During Quarantine?
Hey everyone! This week I am back with some more news about our favorite small town boy, Riley Green. As we all know 2020 has been a little bit of a messy year. For many of us Covid-19 has changed our lives in unspeakable ways. However for Riley Green took some time to return to his hometown and spend quality time with family and friends while really digging back into his roots.
Over quarantine he really dug back into projects that he couldn't do while on the road, and got back to his roots. Without being on the road constantly he was able to go back to fishing, fixing his truck and continuing his house project. Trucks are especially special to Green and that is where the inspiration for his EP album cover came form. Before his come to fame in 2018, he was building houses for a living. During this time period of building houses Green built his own home and really continued to put blood, sweat, and tears into the house during the pandemic. He was able to spend some time in his house and share the joy that his home brings him with his family. In an interview with ABC News Radio Green stated that "he is not far removed from just being a fan" and that "To fall back into being at home with my family around and all that, it was super easy for me." He is a family man at heart and he will never forget where he came from.

Besides doing things around the house and going back to his roots, over quarantine Green also gave fans sneak peaks of unreleased acoustic songs. With recording at an all time low for all country music stars over quarantine, Green took the opportunity to sit down in his backyard with a guitar and show some fans what is to come. On his youtube channel he played a multitude of songs from his EP and also songs that will come out in his full Album either late this year or early next year. Check out one of his unreleased songs called "Better Than Me" that he played acoustic over quarantine below!

I think it’s really amazing how you never really can tell what every single person goes through or what they’ve been through. Having to know certain artists like this is very interesting because it’s so touching to hear and see their own experiences.

DeleteIt is funny how the quarantine could be so stressful for some people and some pleasant for others at the same time. It must be nice for an artist that big to stop for a bit and go back to what you used to do.
